The fighters for UFC Vegas 103 have officially weighed in, paving the way for an exciting event. A total of 24 athletes stepped onto the scale in Las Vegas to make their bouts official.
The main event will feature Manel Kape and Asu Almabayev, both successfully making weight at 126 pounds, the flyweight limit for their non-title fight.
Manel Kape, currently ranked No. 10 in the flyweight division, is approaching a potential title shot after a recent knockout victory. Despite an initial rocky start in the UFC, he has now won five of his last six fights. Another win here could solidify his chance at the championship.
Originally scheduled to face Brandon Royval, who had to withdraw due to injury, Kape will now face Asu Almabayev, ranked No. 13. Almabayev boasts an undefeated record in his four UFC fights and is on a 17-fight winning streak, with an overall professional record of 21-2.
