Tyson Pedro, formerly a UFC fighter, has made an impactful entry into professional boxing.
In his debut match at the Nowhere to Run event, Pedro secured a seventh-round knockout victory against Taimoor Khan on Wednesday morning.
Following his win, Pedro expressed his interest in a future bout with Jake Paul.
Pedro stated that he is open to fighting anyone who can advance him towards a title shot, and specifically mentioned wanting to face Jake Paul as payback for the Tyson name.
This fight marked Pedro’s return to combat sports after retiring from MMA following a defeat at UFC Vegas 87 in March. His MMA record stands at 10 wins and 5 losses.
For Khan, who now holds a record of 15-1, this was his first professional defeat.
