Morgan Rogers, Aston Villa star, says Thomas Tuchel has an “aura” unlike anything he has experienced before in a manager.
Rogers revealed that England’s new boss has presented “some serious ideas” as he aims to win the 2026 World Cup.

Tuchel will begin the Three Lions’ new chapter on Friday with a World Cup qualifier against Albania at Wembley Stadium, which is sold out.
Rogers, who plays under Unai Emery at Villa and previously worked with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, shared his impressions of Tuchel.
He stated about Tuchel: “His aura is unique to any manager I’ve known. Different managers have their own styles, but his confidence is remarkable.”
“He has been very relaxed and composed. Yet, when it’s time for work, it’s strictly business. That’s the feeling I get from him.”
“Considering his career achievements and the respect he commands from managers and players, it’s clear he brings serious ideas.”
Tuchel, the former manager of Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, who is 51, presented his strategy for winning next year’s World Cup during his initial team meeting at St George’s Park.
Rogers, who has earned two England caps under interim manager Lee Carsley, added: “Winning is the only objective. He clearly communicated the areas we need to improve. His message was direct and honest.”
“The team has definitely embraced his vision, and it’s a strong initial message to guide us through our journey together.”
Rogers and the England squad are preparing at Tottenham’s training grounds on Thursday for the Albania match, followed by a home game against Latvia on Monday.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder learned about his squad selection through a text message early Friday before a training session with Villa.
He is well-prepared for Tuchel’s high standards, thanks to the demanding environment set by Emery.
He explained: “There’s never a moment to relax. Unai always keeps you on your toes, offering feedback when you least expect it.”
“Even after my best performances, he will critique minor errors from earlier in the game. But once you understand his methods, you value his insights.”
