World No. 4 Taylor Fritz has identified the most formidable shots in men’s tennis, singling out specific players for their exceptional skills.
During a press conference, Fritz was asked about the toughest shots he’s encountered, referencing powerful serves like John Isner’s and dominant forehands like Rafael Nadal’s. He was then prompted to specify the players who possess the most challenging serve, return, forehand, and backhand in his experience.
Fritz responded, “It’s a difficult question. For serve, definitely Reilly Opelka or Isner. For the forehand, I’m unsure, maybe Andrey Rublev, Roger Federer, someone like that. For the backhand, probably Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev.”
When questioned further about the most difficult player to return serve against, Fritz stated, “Probably Novak Djokovic. Yes, definitely Djokovic. And Sinner is also very good at returning,” he concluded at the Indian Wells press conference.
