Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach are ready for their WBA lightweight title fight on Saturday night, having both successfully weighed in.
The official weigh-in took place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., the venue for the event. Both Davis and Roach needed to meet the lightweight limit of 135 pounds, which they both achieved.
Davis, known as “Tank”, weighed in at 133.8 pounds for his title defense. Roach reached the lightweight limit at 135 pounds.
Jose Valenzuela and Gary Antuanne Russell, who are co-headliners for the WBA super lightweight title fight, also made weight. Valenzuela weighed 138.8 pounds, and Russell weighed 138.2 pounds.
