Tsitsipas commented, ‘I’m very happy to advance this far. I know I’ve been playing good tennis to reach this stage, and that makes me smile.’
He added, ‘The match was inconsistent. I performed well in the first set, but my level dropped in the second. I’m not really sure how I ended up winning, because there was a lot of mental struggle during the match.’
