Southampton are planning to sack Ivan Juric at the end of the current season. They have chosen Danny Rohl as the main candidate to take over.
The Saints are having a very bad season in the Premier League. They have only won one game since Juric took over from Russell Martin in December.

Juric signed an 18-month contract at the end of last year. However, he is not expected to remain manager when the next season starts in the Championship (second division).
Southampton are currently on nine points. They need to get two more points from their remaining 11 games to avoid having the worst ever points total in Premier League history, which is currently held by Derby with 11 points.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Rohl, who previously worked at Southampton with former manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, was considered for the job after Martin was fired.
However, negotiations broke down because of disagreements over the amount of compensation Sheffield Wednesday wanted. There is also some tension between the two clubs.
While Rohl’s compensation could be as high as £4 million for a Premier League club, Southampton would have to pay less as a Championship club.
Rohl also has a working history with Southampton’s new technical director, Johannes Spors, from their time together at German club RB Leipzig.
When Juric was hired, it was not expected that he would save Southampton from relegation, as the club was already nine points from safety.
But neither the players nor the fans have supported Juric’s methods. Southampton have suffered a number of heavy defeats under his management.
These heavy defeats include a 5-0 loss to Brentford and 4-0 losses in a row to Brighton and Chelsea in their most recent games.
The Saints are currently eight points behind Leicester and Ipswich and have conceded 65 goals in their 27 Premier League matches.
They are also a significant 13 points behind Wolves, who are just outside the relegation zone.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Tyler Dibling, one of Southampton’s promising young players, in the summer.
19-year-old midfielder Tyler Dibling was already linked with several big clubs in January.
Tottenham, Newcastle, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were all reportedly interested in the England Under-21 international.
