Football supporters were astonished after images emerged of the away team dressing room at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park.
The Brighton team eliminated Newcastle from the FA Cup in a dramatic match decided by Danny Welbeck’s goal in extra time.

Following their victory, Brighton’s social media accounts shared a video showing players celebrating in the dressing room.
In the short video, Brighton players are seen celebrating their win within the confines of the away dressing room.
The room appeared small and cramped, barely accommodating the celebrating team.
Reacting to Brighton’s video, one fan commented online: “Is that really the away dressing room at St James’ Park? Sunday league grounds have better facilities.”
Another person remarked: “That’s unbelievably poor.”
However, another fan argued: “No away dressing room is ever luxurious.”
Someone else added: “Why would a club want to make the away dressing room luxurious? The goal is to make it as uncomfortable as possible.”
Newcastle’s management is considering options for their stadium, including building a new one to replace the current iconic St James’ Park.

A decision regarding the £1.2 billion stadium project is anticipated soon.
Chief Commercial Officer Peter Silverstone stated: “We are at a stage where we are deciding whether it’s best to renovate and improve St James’ Park, known for its incredible atmosphere.”
“Or whether to construct a new stadium, as other Premier League clubs have chosen to do.”
“This decision will be made in the near future. It’s clear we need to address the high demand.”
“Every week, we have a large number of dedicated fans eager to watch Newcastle, but many are unable to get tickets.”
“We are starting by considering the fans and how to accommodate more of them, and then determining the best way forward.”
