Roy Keane unleashed a scathing attack on Manchester United’s underperforming team, particularly targeting captain Bruno Fernandes for heavy criticism.
The Manchester United icon, aged 53, labeled some players as “imposters” during a heated debate with former England striker Ian Wright.

Keane, along with Wright, Gary Neville, and Jill Scott, discussed Manchester United’s poor recent performances.
Keane, 53, launched into an impassioned monologue, blasting United’s disappointing players after a terrible season.
He specifically called out captain Bruno Fernandes, which Ian Wright strongly disagreed with.
Ruben Amorim’s team is currently struggling in 14th place in the Premier League, having won only 9 out of 27 matches.
Keane passionately stated on the Stick To Football podcast: “Looking at the recruitment and the team, they need to show some fight, speed, and quality in their play.”
He continued, “They draw at Everton, and it’s celebrated as if they’ve won a trophy. It’s unbelievable.”
“Even the fans, I see them at games singing for Bruno [Fernandes]. I think these players are imposters.”
Wright interrupted, defending Fernandes, “No bro, not Bruno.”
Keane retorted, “You know what Wrighty? I’ve had enough of that nonsense.”
“You watch Arsenal every week, I’m focused on United.”
“Just watch a game. Watch him play.”
“We watched [Fernandes] in the cup against Leicester and against Everton last Saturday.”
“People are pretending to press and close down opponents.”
Wright maintained his position, suggesting Fernandes had the ability to “save” United from their poor form.
Keane sarcastically responded, “They’re 15th in the league, and he’s saving them?! Praise the Lord.”
“Talent isn’t enough. You keep mentioning talent. Bruno is talented, but talent alone is insufficient.”
Wright persisted in supporting Bruno, arguing that United would be in a relegation battle without Fernandes.
Keane, raising his voice, insisted, “Leadership is about actions.”
But Wright countered, “Bruno takes action. Maybe you dislike his attitude. I disagree with the criticism of Bruno.”
Former Lioness Jill Scott tried to intervene, but Keane launched a final tirade against Fernandes, criticizing his failure to be a commanding presence in United’s midfield.
He exclaimed to Wright, “I’m asking you, who else should be told to ‘do more’?”
“When all United players step onto the field, they need to show courage and desire for the ball.”
“When you press someone, press them properly!”
“Let me tell you something about bluffing when pressing. You pretend to close down, but you don’t really, and they pass it. Then they say, ‘I did my part!'”
“F*** off! Excuse my language.”

Keane’s passionate outburst quickly went viral, gaining over 1.5 million views in under six hours.
One fan commented online: “Who wouldn’t want that rant as their alarm? You wouldn’t dare snooze.”
Another added: “Roy is spot on… leadership by example. You can’t constantly show frustration and despair on the pitch when things aren’t going well.”
A third joked: “Roy Keane wants a starting XI of Conor Gallaghers.”
However, a fourth person disagreed: “Roy has no right to attack Bruno like that; he’s a great captain.”
