Real Madrid are showing interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, according to reports.
Wharton, 21, recently returned to playing after recovering from groin surgery that kept him out for three months.

The England midfielder has made a strong impression since his £22million move to Selhurst Park from Blackburn in January 2024.
Sources indicate that Real Madrid have been following Wharton’s development.
It is also mentioned that Real Madrid’s chief scout, Juni Calafat, is a great admirer of the Crystal Palace player.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also reportedly interested in Wharton.
Manchester City might have also considered making a move for him last month if he had not been injured.
A transfer to the Spanish club could see Wharton reunite with his England teammate Jude Bellingham.
The Blackburn native made his debut for the national team last summer and participated in Euro 2024.
He is expected to be included in Thomas Tuchel’s upcoming England squad later this month.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is expected to receive offers for several of their key players during the summer transfer window.
Besides Wharton, Eberechi Eze, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Marc Guehi are also drawing interest from other clubs.
Crystal Palace defeated Millwall 3-1 on Saturday to progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The game was overshadowed by a serious injury to Mateta early in the match.
Millwall’s goalkeeper Liam Roberts was sent off after a VAR review for a dangerous high challenge that struck Palace’s forward in the head.
Mateta received oxygen on the field and was taken to the hospital.
The player has since been released from hospital and is recovering after receiving 25 stitches for a severe ear laceration.
