Raul Rosas Jr., the 20-year-old bantamweight fighter, will return to action to fight Vince Morales. This bantamweight match is scheduled for UFC Mexico City on March 29.
Sources familiar with the promotion’s plans confirmed the news.
Rosas Jr. started his UFC career as a teenager and won his first fight. However, he then experienced a loss to Christian Rodriguez by decision. Since that setback, Rosas has recovered with three consecutive wins, including a victory at UFC 306 in September.
This upcoming fight against Morales in March will be Rosas’ first time competing in Mexico under the UFC banner.
Morales, a veteran of 25 fights and having his second run in the UFC, is still seeking his first victory since his return last year. In his most recent fight, Morales lost to Elijah Smith by decision. He will aim to upset Rosas at UFC Mexico City.
The Rosas vs. Morales fight is a new addition to the UFC Mexico City event. The main event will feature former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno against Steve Erceg, a former title challenger.
