Alexandr Romanov, previously a ranked UFC fighter, will compete for a $500,000 prize in the PFL heavyweight division this season.
The PFL announced the official rosters for its upcoming heavyweight and light heavyweight tournaments on Tuesday. Romanov, who recently became a free agent after a victory at UFC Edmonton in November, headlines the heavyweight group.
Joining Romanov in the heavyweight tournament are Valentin Moldavsky, a former interim Bellator champion; Oleg Popov, the 2024 PFL tournament finalist; veterans Linton Vassell and Tim Johnson; recent PFL fighter Sergey Bilostenniy; and promising newcomers Pouya Rahmani and Abraham Bably.
In the light heavyweight tournament, former Bellator champion Phil Davis will make his PFL debut. He will be joined by past PFL tournament winners Antonio Carlos Junior and Rob Wilkinson, as well as Karl Moore, Marcelo Nunes, Simeon Powell, Karl Albrektsson, and Sullivan Cauley.
Alex Polizzi and Rafael Xavier have been named as alternates for the light heavyweight tournament. No alternates were announced for the heavyweight tournament.
The 2025 PFL season begins on April 3rd, with further events on April 11th, April 18th, and May 1st, all taking place at Universal Studios Florida.
