Mirra Andreeva, the world No. 11 Russian tennis player, has shared her thoughts on whether her WTA tour colleagues have changed their attitude towards her following her recent successes, particularly her win at the WTA 1000 event in Dubai, UAE.
“I really don’t know what my rivals feel when they see me in the tournament draw. It’s unknown to me. I can say the same about most of the other girls.
Usually, when we meet, we just exchange greetings and ask how things are going. I have no idea what they are thinking. I haven’t noticed any changes in communication.
It feels like everything is the same as before. Although, of course, I am curious about how they react when they find out they are going to play against me,” Andreeva said in a press conference, as reported by media outlets.
