World No. 11 tennis player, Mirra Andreeva, has spoken about her working relationship with her coach, Conchita Martinez.
Andreeva admitted, “We can argue with each other. I understand that she is my coach, and I need to respect her and listen to her advice.”
She continued, “I remember there were a few times when I was close to losing it. But through experience, I’ve learned that on the court, we are not friends. She is my coach, and she is there to help me win. And that’s how it will continue to be,” Andreeva stated, as quoted by the official WTA website.
