Manchester United might have to pay Marcus Rashford £20 million if he decides to leave the club this summer.
The 27-year-old forward, who has found himself out of favor, is currently on loan at Aston Villa for the rest of the season.

Rashford was reportedly sidelined by manager Ruben Amorim after expressing his desire for a “new challenge” in December.
Since joining Aston Villa in January, the striker has played five Premier League games but has not yet scored.
Rashford signed a significant contract extension with Manchester United in the summer of 2023.
This contract is reportedly worth £325,000 per week and extends until 2028.
According to reports, United might receive as little as £20 million if they sell Rashford to Aston Villa.
Aston Villa has an option to buy Rashford for £40 million if he performs well during his loan.
However, it is suggested that Villa is unlikely to match Rashford’s current high salary.
Consequently, Manchester United could end up paying the remaining amount of Rashford’s contract if he leaves the club prematurely.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of Manchester United, recently highlighted the club’s financial difficulties.
Ratcliffe mentioned that Manchester United would have faced a cash shortage this year without his £300 million investment, emphasizing the club’s need for cost management.
Rashford has reportedly integrated well with his Aston Villa teammates since his loan move.
He showed signs of his прежней form in a 3-1 victory against Club Brugge last week.
Aston Villa captain John McGinn noted that Rashford, along with new signing Asensio, has brought a positive atmosphere to the team.
McGinn commented that both players arrived with significant reputations but have shown humility and a strong work ethic to revive their careers.

McGinn added that they are low-maintenance, focused on working hard to get their careers back on track and appreciative of the platform Aston Villa provides for them to be successful and happy.
He concluded by saying that in return, Aston Villa expects them to be good teammates, work diligently, maintain the team’s standards, and showcase their quality, which they have been doing excellently.
