The MGM Rewards Slam exhibition tournament in Las Vegas, USA, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd, is under question. This is due to the potential withdrawal of world number one Yannik Sinner, and several other prominent players.
Reports from Tennis.com indicate that Alexander Zverev (world No. 2), Casper Ruud (world No. 5), and Tommy Paul (world No. 10) are likely to miss the event. They are reportedly suffering from food poisoning obtained during the ATP 500 tournament in Acapulco.
The Las Vegas exhibition event also plans to feature matches between eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi and Mardy Fish, as well as a match between WTA world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and four-time major winner Naomi Osaka.
