World No. 2, Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek, commented on her reaching the quarter-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, USA.
Swiatek stated in an on-court interview that she felt “just great” and was able to adapt to schedule changes. She expressed joy in seizing opportunities and quickly finishing the match before the rain, thanks to her confident play.
In the fourth round of Indian Wells, Swiatek defeated Czech Karolina Muchova with a score of 6/1, 6/1. The start of the match was delayed due to rain.
For a place in the semi-finals, Swiatek will compete against the winner of the match between Chinese Zheng Qinwen and Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk.
