“I think he’s an amazing player. Since Rafa left, I haven’t watched that many men’s matches. I’ve always followed Carlos Alcaraz, but it was hard for me to find other players whose game would impress me.
Then I started watching Joao’s matches and I really liked how he played and moved on the court. He makes interesting decisions on the court, I will definitely follow him. Maybe because of him I will start watching more men’s matches on the Tour.
He is amazing and is doing great so far. There is a lot of pressure on him now, so I hope that Brazilian fans will be lenient with him, because he is still very young and has time to develop.
