Helena Crevar continues to impress in the grappling world.
The jiu-jitsu prodigy faced Maggie Grindatti Lira early at UFC Fight Pass Invitational 10 in Las Vegas on Thursday night, quickly defeating her opponent. Crevar secured a rare calf slicer submission after initially attempting a rear-naked choke, forcing Lira to verbally submit.

Crevar, who was promoted to brown belt by coach John Danaher in December 2024 following significant achievements in tournaments like ADCC, IBJJF, and Polaris, has now achieved three wins at UFC Fight Pass Invitational events, with two of them being submissions. Craver now hopes to compete for a Fight Pass Invitational title in either the 145 or 155-pound weight class.
“I was definitely looking for a submission,” Crevar said after her win. “I’ve been practicing my calf slicer, not just focusing on heel hooks and ankle locks, so I’m really happy to have finished with it.”
