Manchester United Women’s team player Geyse has publicly shared her dissatisfaction with her situation at the club.
The Brazilian forward, who has seen limited playing time recently, used social media to express her feelings of frustration.

She described her experience as “agonising and lonely” and criticised the overall “environment” within the club.
In her social media post, Geyse wrote about the heavy feeling of unhappiness and loneliness when feeling out of place. She described the club environment as unwelcoming and uncomfortable, making it hard to find peace. She highlighted how a lack of connection with surroundings can drain energy and vibrancy from one’s world.
Geyse also touched on the desire for change being countered by fear of the unknown and future uncertainties. However, she concluded by affirming the importance of seeking environments that foster happiness and personal growth.
Geyse made a brief appearance as an 84th-minute substitute during Manchester United’s 2-0 victory against Leicester City in the Women’s Super League. Prior to entering the game, teammate Rachel Williams offered words of encouragement to Geyse.
This appearance was Geyse’s ninth of the season and her first in the WSL since mid-December.
Geyse had returned to Manchester in February after a leave of absence following the death of her brother in January.
Manchester United boss Marc Skinner has acknowledged Geyse’s difficult situation. He understands her desire for more playing time but recognizes the emotional challenges she is currently facing. Skinner mentioned that the club is providing support and highlighted Rachel Williams’ positive influence as a motivator and supportive figure for Geyse. He expressed hope that Geyse will regain her confidence and form in the coming months.
