Wayne Rooney returns to football management as England’s Soccer Aid boss, joined by boxing superstar Tyson Fury.
The duo will manage the England team for the charity match against the World XI on June 15th.

Wayne, 39, who departed Plymouth Argyle on New Year’s Eve, commented to fans: “Tyson and I are taking this very seriously. We are going to put on a great show.”
Tyson, 36, who retired from boxing in January, added: “England manager! Who would have thought? The chance to lead my team to victory excites me as much as any heavyweight bout.”
England’s squad will include former 1D star Louis Tomlinson, Olympian Sir Mo Farah, actress Vicky McClure, and comedian Paddy McGuinness.
Former players confirmed for the match at Old Trafford in Manchester include England legends Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, and David James, as well as Lionesses Jill Scott, Steph Houghton, and Toni Duggan.
World XI’s former Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci stated: “I really want to win. I just hope I don’t make Tyson too angry.”
Soccer Aid has raised £106 million for Unicef since its inception in 2006.
