Italian coach Ricardo Piatti, who has previously worked with both Serbian Novak Djokovic and Italian Jannik Sinner, has drawn comparisons between the two tennis players. According to Piatti, they share certain common characteristics.
“Novak and Jannik are very different, but they are similar in some aspects. In my opinion, Jannik is currently stronger than Novak because he is younger.”
“I sometimes forget how Novak was in his youth, but it’s clear that he had to face tough competition from Federer and Nadal. Mentally, both Djokovic and Sinner are very strong. They both clearly understand what needs to be done. And they do it,” Piatti stated.
