After Arman Tsarukyan had to withdraw from his UFC 311 main event fight against Islam Makhachev, Dan Hooker made comments about it. Now, Tsarukyan is responding to Hooker’s remarks.
Tsarukyan was scheduled to compete for the lightweight title against Makhachev in January, but he had to pull out the day before due to a back injury. Hooker reacted to this situation by referencing Dana White’s statement that Tsarukyan would need to earn his way back to a title shot, quipping, “daddy can’t buy you a backbone, can he?”
Recently, it was announced that Hooker was also forced to withdraw from his UFC 313 main event next Saturday against Justin Gaethje because of a broken hand. Tsarukyan couldn’t resist responding to “Hangman’s” previous comments.
“Karma doesn’t miss. Big mouth, glass hands – maybe just stick to talking instead of fighting,” Tsarukyan said to Hooker on Twitter.
Unsurprisingly, Hooker responded to Tsarukyan, who is a highly ranked lightweight contender in the UFC.
“If only your dad pulled out quicker than your last fight,” Hooker wrote on Twitter. “Glass hand haha glass house”
Currently, no replacement has been announced for Gaethje for the upcoming pay-per-view event in Las Vegas.
