2020 Olympic champion and winner of 20 ATP titles, Russian player Andrey Rublev has expressed his expectations for the Indian Wells tournament in the USA, taking place from March 5th to 16th.
In a video released by the tournament’s press service, Rublev chuckled, “My favorite things about Indian Wells? It’s the views, you know, the nights, the jacuzzi. My favorite food there? I’m not sure, barbecue. Also late in the evening,” he laughed, “after the jacuzzi,” he added with another laugh. “What I’m looking forward to most this year at Indian Wells? Barbecue at night and jacuzzi late at night!”
Prior to this, Andrey Rublev had an unsuccessful run at the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai, UAE. In the first round, the ninth-ranked player in the world was defeated by France’s Quentin Halys, ranked 77th, with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-7(5).
